I hope somebody out there with more knowledge than me can help me. I have a level 17 prophesies warrior, who travelled to cantha at lvl 15. I have taken the quest from brother Tosai and drank from the chalice of corruption, which causes health drain. I then proceed with the next part but at lvl 15 couldnt beat the abominations and im my infinite wisdom (or lack of) abondoned the quest (drink from chalice) thinking that it would stop the health drain - it didnt.

I suffered the drain and eventually hit lvl 17 and returned to Tosai, defeated the abominations but couldnt get the reward that cancels the health drain, nor would he let me take the drink from chalice of corruption quest again.

Does anybody have any ideas to stop this?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I don't remember the specifics. It's been awhile since I've done that quest, but I believe you first get the quest from a guy in Kaineng Center who is standing near the Imperial Quartermasters. Return to him and see if you can pick up the quest again from him since you abandoned it.

You should be able to abandon the quest and get that to go away *logging out my be needed?* if not you should report it to anet as a bug. wish I could help more but GL anyways.

On a completely different note you will make life easier if you just keep "Seeking brother Tosai" active in your log [ too late this time but next time you are there on another character] it will keep the am fan friendly in that zone and will save you tons of time while doing all of the other fed ex crap around there.

As stated, if you abandoned the quest you need to restart from Bujo in KC. The choice to drink or refuse is part of that quest section.

While Bujo is not near the Quartermasters, I believe if you stand near them and use your ALT key you will see his name. His location is to the west in one of the plazas.

Thanks for your help. Unfortunately none of those options work, I think because I have already completed the second part of the quest it wont give me the first part. It is a lesson well learn't, at least it wasnt my primary character

I just reread the wiki page and you are on the "Masters of Corruption" part of this quest series. Wiki mentions that a problem might occur if any of the afflicted had pathing problems and didn't arrive. If you don't kill all the required spawn, Tosai will not give the correct dialog.

Edit: more relevant questions/info.

Just send them a support ticket explaining your problem and I'm sure they can get this handled for you. You will prolly get a canned answer the first time but if you keep talking to them they are really helpful.

Primary character or not you can't be running around with flies.
